Jordan NATURE-PUR – protects the wood and the environment!

Detmold, February 22, 2017 – With Jordan Nature-Pur Jordan Lacke introduce an out of the ordinary wood protection product for a large spectrum of applications onto the market. The new product of the surface specialist is a purely mineral, physically efficient wood preservative against animal and herbal pests.
Jordan Nature-Pur consists of a special mixture of alkali silicates in water and has a multi-functional character. Several threats to the wood are counteracted and
even combated with this new Jordan product. It can be used on untreated and treated wood. Thanks to its wood-protecting property it influences the wood characteristics in a way that no wood- destroying infestation by insects and/or fungi can take place. After impregnation the wood types are silificated in the subsequent short-term drying process, that means that quartz crystals are integrated into the wood substance. Through mineralizing and hardening the wood is no longer a breeding ground for pests and is – so to speak – petrified, so that the nutrient medium is removed from the pests – whether vermins or fungi. So the wood is not only protected against harmful environmental influences but also against weathering, and in addition, the wood grain is emphasized and the natural wood colour highlighted.
This product does not contain any pesticides and is absolutely biocide-free. No vapours are emitted after drying. As Jordan Nature- Pur is a mineral product it is not toxic after hardening and thus can unhesitatingly come into contact with the soil. In addition, the product is said to be safe for bees. Jordan Nature-Pur is also harmless for living zones of allergics, persons with health problems, small children and animals.
Thanks to the application Jordan Nature-Pur the treated wood is protected in case of fire. The wood becomes self-extinguishing and flame-retardant (especially regarding pressure impregnation) and thus prevents fire breakout and expansion. Fire behaviour and flammability factors are sustainably improved.
Furthermore Jordan Nature-UV protects against UV-radiation and graying, mould spots and yellowing. This is a permanent protection.
You can also carry out individual colour design with Jordan Nature-Color whereas the feature image remains unchanged.
After drying the product can be removed only mechanically. It is no longer washable and has a “crack-bridging” effect. This protection can also be used for wood types that are stressed statically.
All Jordan Natureline products can be applied with a brush/roll, spray gun, or pressure impregnation. The use of plunge pools is also possible. The wood to be treated must be an open-pore wood type as Nature-Pur absorption is only feasible for such wood types. The wood surface is to be clean, dust-free as well as free from oil, resin, wax, and grease.
The fields of application range from all structural wood types to chalet or weather boarding. Furthermore also poles can be protected, e.g. for fences or even decking in garden areas. This ecological wood preservative is particularly suitable for wood types on children’s playgrounds, for living zones of allergics, ill people and small children, but also for beehives and stables.
