RCD-Treppensysteme: Annual meeting 2017 at the PCG Group
Practical demonstrations and information for stair makers.
From 11/05/2017 to 12/05/2017 this year’s annual meeting of RCD-Treppensysteme GmbH & Co.KG with various staircase partners from the whole area of the Federal Republic took place in our technical centre in Detmold.
Over 50 participants experienced two informative and entertaining days. The meeting was started with a workshop on Thursday afternoon. At the stations “test laboratory”, “water-based lacquer applied by spraying method” and “oiled surface” our staff presented current developments and products to the participants.
In the test laboratory Kerstin Dekomien and her staff explained their work regarding the development and test of the products. The questions of those present were answered in detail and thus allowed an insight into the quality-assuring measures of our company.
Various products such as „oils“ and „water-based varnishes for stairs“ were shown inthe event of sampling demonstrations. Besides the practical part, here too the attending experts’ questions regarding application and implementation were answered in detail and in a qualified manner.
On Friday various lectures were on the agenda. First the participants were given a short insight into the company’s history by our managing director Hanno Baumann. Subsequently Kerstin Dekomien reported on the subject “Surface in stair making – is the surface quality of stairs concealed in the corset of foreign standards?” In detail
she explained the various challenges based not only on the professionals’ but also on the end customers’ standards and requirements for stair surfaces.
Subsequently to the lectures the participants largely benefitted from the opportunity of asking questions to the referees so that everything could be made absolutely clear.
