A master examination object that invites you to interact with it.
In the planning and implementation of this masterpiece, it was particularly important to emphasize the extendability of the tabletop and to be able to change the size of the table again and again.
The light-stained, fixed tabletop was made from two moulded parts and two straight parts. The change in the direction of the veneer shows the different components and clearly separates them on closer inspection. The subsequent gluing of the two moulded parts enables a large slot and trunnion connection, which offers a high level of structural stability due to a tight fit.
The position of the handle for extending the black-stained tabletop is discreetly emphasised by a change of veneer in the gluer.
The variability of the tabletop is enabled by a handcrafted pull-out shelf without restricting the reduced design.
