THE NEW PLANTAG COATINGS TECHNOLOGY CENTRE

A PLACE FOR TESTING, DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION

The new technology centre is not only a location for testing a and development, but also a place for collaboration and innovation in surface technology. It offers ideal conditions for developing and optimizing innovative products together with customers from the furniture, flooring and panel industry and trade.

The relocation from the old to the new site took place in the last quarter of 2023 and the 1,000 m² technical centre has been in operation since the end of January. It is used by both our technical field service and our development laboratories. The proximity to the development laboratories ensures short distances and optimal communication between the departments. Customer visits are always welcome, whether for demonstrations, training or joint developments.

• Surface sanding machine (calibration-, longitudinal-, cross sanding belt, brush)
• Machine for industrial spray coating
• Filler and putty machine
• 3 Roller coaters
• 2 Laboratory roller coaters with distributor unit
• 2 UV dryers (gallium, mercury)
• Jet dryer
• Paint booth for manual application (high and low pressure process)
• EBM system (electron beam hardening)
• UV dryer (inert gas – nitrogen)
• LED & excimer UV dryer (inert gas – nitrogen)
• 4 Laboratory drying ovens
• Testing laboratory
• Woodworking machines
